ChatGPT mobile multi-account switching (up to 2 signed-in accounts)
Codex lead Tibo said ChatGPT on mobile can now switch accounts easily, with desktop coming soon; OpenAI Help confirms up to 2 accounts stay signed in with separate chats, billing, workspaces, and settings.
On 31 October 2026, OpenAI Codex lead Thibault Sottiaux (@thsottiaux) announced that ChatGPT on mobile can now switch between multiple accounts easily, with desktop support coming soon. He also noted the next two days are usage-reset windows.
